BE FRIENDLY
NOTRE ŒUVRE CARITATIVE
At Maria Nila, we believe that animals should never be used to satisfy human vanity. That's why all our products are 100% vegan and packaged in carbon-offset packaging. Furthermore, we partner with Plan Vivo to offset all CO₂ emissions related to our operations. Since 2017, this initiative has resulted in the planting of 1.2 million square meters of forest. Learn more about our carbon offsetting.
Our philosophy of responsible choice extends far beyond our products: we are committed to respecting the environment. Every year, starting on November 1st, World Vegan Day, we launch a new edition of our Be Friendly charity project to raise funds for a specific wildlife-related cause. This project is run in partnership with our trusted charity, the Perfect World Foundation , which works to protect animals and nature. Thanks to the support of our community of customers and salons, Be Friendly has contributed to numerous associations and causes around the world.

Maria Nila Charity Project
MARIA NILA x SKYDOG RANCH & SANCTUARY
As part of Be Friendly 2026, Maria Nila is partnering with Skydog Ranch & Sanctuary, an American non-profit organization that rescues wild mustangs and donkeys from neglect, roundups and slaughterhouses.
Founded in 2016, Skydog provides permanent homes for rescued horses from sanctuaries in Oregon and California, reuniting families and offering them a safe and natural life together.
Their work provides a powerful voice for the protection of wild horses and the right of every animal to live freely and with dignity.

DISCOVER THE MUSTANGS
For Be Friendly 2026, we are focusing on one of the most powerful symbols of freedom: the wild mustangs of the American West.
Descended from horses brought by Spanish explorers more than 500 years ago, mustangs have adapted to life on the open plains, living in close-knit family herds led by sturdy mares and protective stallions.
Today, fewer than 50,000 mustangs remain in the wild. Many of them fall victim to roundups, family separation, and habitat destruction. Protecting them means preserving not only a species, but also the spirit of freedom and resilience they embody.
